I've never really cared about making physical copies of my music. It always felt like an unnecessary complication since most people can just download the songs. When I was funding my album though, a physical copy was one of the perks for anyone who contributed over a certain amount, and a few people passed the threshold, so I had to make some CDs.
I got my test copy in the mail a little while ago and I was surprisingly stoked about it. I thought I'd be indifferent, but seeing a physical manifestation of all of the hard work is actually pretty cool. Makes me want to reeeally go off on the artwork for the followup, and maybe make some vinyl so the artwork can be bigger. Can't wait to get these albums shipped so I can start bringing some new ideas to life.
